如果貨物描述被CBP認定為模糊不清并拒絕接受，F(xiàn)edEx可能會在始發(fā)地拒絕該貨物，或在始發(fā)地扣留該貨物，直至提供完整的數(shù)據(jù)為止。
FedEx在此特別提醒客戶，在創(chuàng)建貨物時提供準確的貨物描述至關重要，以確保符合美國海關及邊境保衛(wèi)局（CBP）的規(guī)定。自生效日期起，任何被CBP認定為描述模糊的貨物都將被拒收，并可能會導致延誤。
準確的描述能夠清楚地指明商品的材質(zhì)和用途。
例如，應詳細說明為“塑料制成的兒童玩具”，而非簡單地標注為“玩具”；
同樣，應描述為“60%棉和40%聚酯制成的女裝”，而不是籠統(tǒng)地稱之為“服裝”。
